WHAT MAKES OUR TEA SO UNIQUE?

HANDCRAFTED BY ARTISANS

We decided not to select tea that has been industrially processed.

Instead, we are working with tea artisans that still adhere to time-honoured techniques from the initial handpicking of the leaves to panfrying, rolling, sun-drying, and stone-pressing.

These ancestral handcrafted methods allow the tea leaves time to retain as much of their natural flavours for the most delicate brew.

NATURE AT ITS BEST

Wild and pure, with no hint of pesticides or fertilisers, our tea is naturally organic. As if this wasn’t enough, we decided to add a European organic certification to our whole-leaf teas and herbal infusions were this was possible. This way, we feel true to our customers and responsible of our commitment to long-term sustainable farming and of our support to biodiversity.

As for our aged pu-erh teacakes, the leaves are hand-picked from ancestral tea trees in preserved terroirs, where no pesticide is needed. In fact, the wild and natural habitat of the trees is essential to the identity and flavour of the tea.

WITNESS WHAT IS POSSIBLE

We have chosen to grow our tea on historical terroirs that have proven their richness thanks to their ability to provide tea trees with new and subtle aromas for hundreds of years.

Because terroirs include many aspects that evolve over time such as climate, topography and living organisms, we had to build strong relationships with tea artisans that know how to get the most out of them.

Today, we are committed to provide you with a selection of teas that reflects the best of what nature has to offer, using the know-how of yesteryear.

A BROAD SPECTRUM OF TASTES AND AROMAS

All our teas are hand-picked and manually processed in small-batches directly from the gardens where they are grown.

While our collections showcase the wonderful spectrum of flavours found in pure, artisanal tea, we consistently look for fresh crops and terroirs kept secret to provide you with an ever-evolving offering of the world’s finest teas and botanicals.
